When I started this blog I vowed to run any comment that wasn't libelous or vulgar.
I lied.
It seems that rude and stupid should have been on that list as well
You see, last week I received a comment from an anonymous nimrod that said, "quit spending the money mr gray at the buffet. call jenny craig" Apparently ee cummings will never be dead as long as the Internet and unidentified illiterates are still around.
I deleted this comment and didn't post it because it had no real substance to apply to the discussion about the RVRDA.
I guess this was supposed to be some witty comment on my physical size. You see, I'm a little on the heavy side, or as we used to say in more polite days, "husky" or "big boned". Although I really don't have a hard time with the term "fat". (I do, however, object to that term when it is coupled with "and lazy".)
Guess my blog post upset Mr. or Ms. Anonymous to the point where taking a shot at me personally was the best alternative, probably because he or she was too stupid to make a solid argument on its merits. Guess that's a little beyond your grasp.
What are we? In fifth grade?
Just remember, Dear Anon, I can lose weight and trim down, but you will still be rude, obnoxious and too cowardly to put you name to a blog comment.
Grow up and come back when you're acne has cleared up.

ReplyDeleteGood for you Mr. Gray! As someone who has struggled with weight issues all my life, it is truly irritating when attacks are made on the non-issues. I may not always agree with you in your decisions as Supervisor, but I would hope that future budget complaints received are for our town budget, not your personal budget. I hope all who respond here decide to take the high road, instead of acting like children in jr. high school.
