At What Point Does He Go To Jail...?

Here's the most recent example of the criminal justice's system's failure:

Daily Courier-Observer: "Massena Teen Charged Again With Stealing Vehicle"

At what point does this guy spend some time in jail? Three arrests in the past 10 months? Why isn't this punk in jail? How many more strikes does he get? Oh, he probably hasn't been convicted of anything yet, and it takes forever to get people like this before the court. But then again, he'll probably get a plea bargain to roll all of these alleged crimes into one. He'll maybe enter treatment if he has a drug abuse history, or he'll get probation and "counseling."

In the meantime, our community continues to get terrorized by his ilk and we all have to look over our shoulders to see where they're at.

  1. maybe someday he'll try to steal from the wrong person and either get his butt handed to him, or maybe catch a bullet!! But the other guy will get sent to jail instead. If you flunk your rehab, or reoffend, you should get an immediate rocket ride to Dannemora. Let's see what you steal there!!!!!

  2. I'm sure it's just a matter of time before he starts living on my dollar-the only question is will it be behind bars or via welfare check? Hope he's not too lazy to walk to the mailbox!
